The Winning Mega Millions Ticket is Sold at a Texas Gas Station

A Mega Millions ticket sold at a Fort Worth gas station fell just short of winning the $20 million jackpot but still secured an impressive $5 million prize in the Friday, March 28 drawing, according to the Texas Lottery Commission.

The Lucky Ticket

The winning ticket was purchased at the RaceTrac No. 2577 gas station on Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth. It was the only ticket nationwide to match five numbers in the drawing, earning the $5 million prize.

What About the Jackpot?

While no one claimed the jackpot, the grand prize will now rise to an estimated $29 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, April 1. Players also have the option of taking a cash prize of approximately $13.3 million instead of the full jackpot.

Next Mega Millions Draw

With the jackpot climbing, the next Mega Millions drawing will take place on April 1, and the prize could be even bigger. Make sure to grab your ticket for a chance to win!
