ELECTRA, Texas — Dan Green, an Electra man, is in custody after being arrested by local police for a home burglary. Green, facing charges of burglary and tampering with physical evidence, is currently being held in the Wichita County Jail on a $40,000 bond.

On Friday, March 13, 2026, around 10:20 a.m., Electra Police and Wichita County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at an empty home in the 500 block of North Wilbarger Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers observed a man climbing out of a broken window and later identified him as Dan Green.
As police gave commands to the suspect, Green allegedly threw an object at a nearby wall before he was taken into custody. The object was later identified as a glass pipe, which contained what police believe to be methamphetamine.
